Based in the city campus of the University of Auckland, 95bFM is operated by students and broadcast independently. In 1969, it was formed and today continues as the only corporate-free broadcaster in New Zealand. Under a Schedule 7 (educational purposes) semi-commercial licence, 95bFM is owned by a trust representing the Auckland University Students Association (AUSA) and can be heard across Auckland on 95.0 FM.
