97.7 Moose FM (CHMS-FM) is the Canadian radio station that transmits at 97.7 FM from Bancroft, Ontario. CJNH started broadcasting in 1975 on the AM band which tunes on 1240 kHz in Bancroft, broadcasting CJBQ from Belleville and CJTN from Trent. CRTC (Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission) in March 2001 approved CJNH to change to FM, as from May 2001, it started. ([Wikipedia][1]) In 2012, Vista Broadcast Group, media company renowned as a manager of several radio stations in western Canada, announced it was considering taking over the former owner of CHMS-FM, Haliburton Broadcasting Group. On 19/10/2012, CRTC approved the deal.
