Based in Auckland, New Zealand and owned by the Pacific Media Network (PMN), Radio 531pi is a leading Pacific-centered radio station. When the Auckland Pacific Island Community Radio Trust established Pacific Island Radio in 1993, the goal was to serve Auckland’s Pacific Island community. In 2007, the station was adopted by the PMN, managed by the National Pacific Radio Trust and given funds by New Zealand on Air.
