Held by Te Tiao, Radio Tainui is the Māori iwi station that has its base in Ngaruawahia, New Zealand and is known as Te Reo o Tainui. Since November 1989, the station helps the Waikato region and its Tainui iwi through coverage of Māori language, culture and issues within the community Today, Radio Tainui acts as an important spot for the Māori community and the wider Waikato, spreading Māori language and traditions on its multiple shows.
