It's About The Information for StudentsThe Fox – CFXU-FM
CFXU-FM, better known as 93.3 The Fox, is the campus and community radio station for St. Francis Xavier University (StFX) in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Broadcasting at 50 watts on 93.3 FM, it plays a wide range of alternative, indie rock, classic rock, folk, and other types of music, as well as shows and programs made by students. CFXU first started back in 1969 when students ran a student-run station called VOX (Voice of Xavier), which aired over a small AM transmitter out of a dorm room. Over the years, it went through different ways of broadcasting like using closed-circuit systems and cable channels, and in 2002 it finally got a license to use a low-powered FM station. In 2006, the station got a license to broadcast on campus and in the local community, and a year later, in 2008, they moved to their current frequency of 93.3 FM. 📬 Contact Information For feedback, if you have any questions, or if you want to help out: Mailing Address: PO Box 948, StFX University, Antigonish, NS, B2G 2W5
